NUST is considered one of the most rigorous academic environments, not only for research but also for innovation and technology advancement. Getting admission to NUST is a very competitive and lengthy process, but with the right preparation, it is quite manageable to secure admission to NUST. Remember the fact that the only criterion for admission to NUST is merit. There is no quota system or admission based on excellence in sports, music, or debating. Admission in Nust
Before proceeding, ensure you meet these general requirements:
Eligibility:
- FSc/HSSC/A-Levels (or equivalent) - You must have at least 60% marks in your intermediate or A-level examinations.
- Matriculation (SSC/O-Levels) - You must also have at least 60% marks in your matric or O-level examinations.

- Students who have just taken their second-year exams can apply on the basis of their first-year results, but it is necessary to verify the results.
Required Documents:
- CNIC/B-Form
- Matric Certificate (or matric result card is also acceptable)
- Intermediate Certificate (or intermediate result card if preferred)
- Passport-size photos
- Medical Fitness Certificate
- Selected candidates must also submit a medical fitness test.
Complete Admission Process
First of all, you have to visit https://ugadmissions.nust.edu.pk/ and register there.
Registration is very easy if you follow these steps:
- After registration, students can access the admission form
- Students must upload their images on a plain background and ensure the photo is not older than one month
- Submit the form and you will receive a confirmation email from NUST
- After that, log in again and print the fee challan from NUST
- Candidates can deposit the fee at any branch of HBL, and remember that after receiving the email, you have only 5 days to deposit the fee
- After payment, students will be informed about the entry test along with information about the admit card
